In collaboration with the Vent des Forêts national contemporary art centre and its café association « La Maison Vent des Forêts », and the ARTEM workshop run by the École nationale supérieure d’art et de design de Nancy (Ensad Nancy), 20 students are devising a toolbox made up of three scenarios and technical devices for reactivating discarded objects and materials available in recycling centres and solidarity shops.

The toolbox, called « Retour de Forêt » (Back from the Forest), contributes to the local economy through the production and activation of small fictions conveyed by these objects.

Accompanied by a user guide, each tool can be used by the « Vent des forêts » team or workshop participants to produce and develop the proposed devices. The following three workshops have been created as part of the Distributed Design project.
